The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels takes you to the land of stunning architecture, pictorial landscapes, interesting sports, breathtaking adventure, amazing handicrafts and colorful festivals. This journey of sheer opulence and comfort takes you to the capital city- Delhi, pink city- Jaipur, city of camels- Bikaner, city of forts- Jaisalmer, land of sand dunes- Jodhpur, romantic city- Udaipur, historic city- Chittaurgarh, eastern gateway of Rajastha-n Bharatpur and former capital of the Mughal empire- Agra. This luxurious seven nights and eight days journey commences from 11th January 2009 from Safdarjung Railway Station and comes to an end on the day 8, Sunday.
Your journey starts from Delhi on Sundays. The train arrives on its second day at Jaipur, where you get to explore the famous monuments like the Hawa Mahal, Amber Palace and City Palace. From here you reach Bikaner on the next day and visit the forts, camel research farms and temples. As per the route of Royal Rajasthan train, it arrives at Jaisalmer on the fourth day and gives you an opportunity to explore the havelis, Trikuta hill and the fort built by Rawal Jaiswal. The train stops at Jodhpur on the fifth day. The popular tourist attractions at Jodhpur are Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhavan Palace. The next destination is Chittorgarh. On the seventh day, the train stops at two places- Bharatpur and Agra. On the eighth day the Royal Rajasthan arrives back at Delhi, marking the end of your memorable journey.
The Royal Rajasthan luxury train offers a range of tour itineraries or tour packages suiting your convenience and budget. The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels offer 14 coaches, of which is Super Deluxe and the other 13 is Deluxe Saloons. The train also includes two staff cars, two power cars, and two Restro Lounges. The seating capacity of the train is 82 passengers at a time.
The luxury train also includes a restaurant lounge where you can have your meals and drinks. The two restaurant lounges can accommodate about 120 diners. Apart from luxurious traveling experience, the train offers other facilities like bed, hot and cold running water, an attendant per coach and also Internet Wi-Fi system. Some additional features like Channel Music and Public Address are offered by the deluxe cabins.
