Downloadable Ford Mustang Owners Manual - II
The 1998 Ford Mustang owner's manual has for the second file download is entitled "Introduction" but the first page actually has "Contents" for the title. Compared to the first file on the downloaded manual, the second file is more specific for the 1998 Ford Mustang model. The first file entitled "General Information" could be said as ‘applicable' for a certain range model of Ford Mustangs.
The introduction part of the owner's manual/automotive repair manuals has a special notice that reads as follows: "SPECIAL NOTICES: Notice to owners of Cobra vehicles. Before you drive your vehicle, be sure to read the "SVT Cobra Owner's Guide Supplement." This book contains important operation and maintenance information." SVT stands for Ford's Special Vehicle Team that designs and styles Mustangs for high performance and in limited production only.
Moving on to the introduction file, the first 62 pages has the Content page, introduction, instrumentation, controls and features. The details of this portion cover all models from the basic, standard up to convertibles, for both automatic and manual transmission.
