Front Strut
need struts on front right of car - kinda metalish noise comin from strut section?
what is the worst that will/could happen next?
got estimate of almost $ 700 - but what is the metal or grindin i'm hearin?
it's not really a grindin noise - kinda squeeky & my breaks do sometimes do that {they r new but its like theres rust or somethin in there }
this noise is more meatl like & is diff from when the brakes did it -
it really doesnt bounce around much - i dont really drive it much or that far only to store or something like that - was told strut was leakin? gas line attached maybe? but there's only residue of leakage once in awhile - although i spose it could just be stuck somewhere & hasnt made it on ground yet
your vehicle will bounce alot and ruin the tires faster, sometimes in rare cases the strut will come apart and you will have to be towed , i would take it to a shop where they do shocks and brakes, it will cost about 300 bucks at most for factory type struts, a little more for better ones
