The Samsung Jet includes one-finger zoom making it easier than ever to simply zoom in and out from photos and webpages for a better and easier to see view. This is boosted by supreme colours that the Super AMOLED 3.1 inch touch screen provides. This display technology is thinner than conventional TFT screen technology, and can be viewed from any angle. It is also able to respond faster to touch actions fro the user, which can then be implemented by the fast 800MHz application processor this handset also offers.
In addition to this superior combination of responsive and processing hardware, the phone also offers DVD quality video recording and playback. It features a 5 megapixel camera with multiple shot and scene modes to enhance image and video quality even further, and further manual editing can be done with hPot and Video editors also featured. The autofocus camera also has dual power LED light and flash.
The memory storage for all of this probable media is one of three internal memory capacities (2, 8 and 16GB respectively), with an expandable emory of up to 16 gigabytes offered through microSD card technology. Other media likely to be aded to the storage is of course music. The Music player offered by this handset sorts ad finds music seamlessly for the user to listen to through the 3.5mm jack plug. The major audio file formats are supported, as is FM radio (with RDS) recording as well as live listening.
The Jet has an internal A-GPS antenna and subsequently offers on board navigation, maps and route planning services among other location based possibilities, including through the Web. Webpages can be accessed directly through custom made shortcuts in the user's menu, or through bookmarks in the phone's Dolfin web browser which supports all standard protocols such as HTML and Flash web applications also. The handset also supports all standard language based widgets, which provide endless series, and can be added to constantly through the More Widgets feature.
Internet connectivity is via WiFi with 2.5G and 3G and Class 12 EDGE and GPRS. File sharing is offered through Bluetooth 2.1 and Hi-Speed 2.0 USB connections, as well as PictBridge USB printing and OPP and BPP mobile printing technologies which are supported.
The Samsung Jet provides the user with a rapid response user interface and multi-tasking platform with a fast application processor supporting a more responsive touch screen which also provides a better viewing experience for the many features and widgets that can be enjoyed including videos and photos taken with the impressive camera.
